What is Augmented Reality?

Augmented reality (AR) is an enhanced version of the real physical world that is achieved through the use of digital visual elements, sound or other sensory stimuli provided through technology. It uses the existing real-world environment and overlays virtual information on top of it to enhance the experience.

The main value of augmented reality is the way in which digital world components blend with real-world perception, not as a simple display of data, but through the integration of immersive sensations, which are perceived as natural parts of an environment.
